In the Fullness of Time: God’s Perfect Timing
Galatians 4:4-5 tells us, “4 But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons.” This passage has always brought me great comfort. Not only was Jesus born to be our Savior, He was born at the perfect time. The wait might have seemed too long for those who were looking for His coming, but God sent forth His son at exactly the right moment – showing that He did not forget His promise (Genesis 3:15).
As we look back at what God has done in remembering His promise and sending His son in the fullness of time, we can rejoice while we wait today.
